| ‘In this session, the speaker will be discussing the role of an occupational therapist and demonstrate how to navigate through the occupational therapy service website which gives helpful advice and resources for parents/carers/schools to help facilitate children learn functional life skills.
Additionally, the session will cover how an occupational therapist works collaboratively with educational staff/parents/carers to facilitate and help children to develop skills to be more independent in performing day to day activities through adaptation of the task or the environment’.
