How We Work with Local Services

At SNAP PCF, we work as equal partners with Central Bedfordshire Council, the BMLK ICB, local NHS Health services and other service providers. When coproduction works well, we are involved from the very beginning of ideas and projects, helping to co-produce services that meet the real needs of families.

We know that services work best when they are shaped by those who use them. That’s why we gather feedback from parent carers across Central Bedfordshire to understand your experiences, needs, and challenges.

What’s Working – and What’s Not?

At SNAP Parent Carer Forum, we want to hear from you — the things that make you mad, sad, or glad about the services your family receives.

We work in equal partnership with the Local Authority, Health, Education, and other service providers to help co-produce services that work for children and young people with SEND. That means we’re involved from the very beginning — helping shape ideas, not just responding to them.

But to truly represent your needs, we need to hear your voice.

What Can You Tell Us?

  • What’s working well for your family?
  • What’s not working?
  • What could have made your experience better?
  • What support did you need — or still need?

These views help us:

  • Highlight what’s working well
  • Raise concerns and challenges
  • Influence change and improvements to services
  • Represent the real experiences of families in Central Bedfordshire

You can share your experiences by:

What to Think About

  • Have you noticed any improvements in communication or services?
  • Which services are making a difference?
  • Where have you seen little or no change?

Your views help us identify both areas to celebrate and areas needing more attention.

All feedback is collected anonymously and helps guide our priorities as a forum. While we’re unable to take on individual cases or offer advocacy, we do record patterns and use this information to drive change in local services.  We work in partnership — not in conflict — to shape better outcomes for our children and young people.
