We are delighted to welcome you to the Healthy Parent Carer Programme!
We understand that caring for a young person with additional needs can create
extra demands, often leaving little time for your own health and well-being. That’s
why we want to bring this programme to Central Bedfordshire– to provide you
with the support and tools needed to make positive changes in your life.
This programme was inspired by and developed together with parent carers from
the Family Faculty in the Peninsula Childhood Disability Research Unit (PenCRU)
based in the University of Exeter Medical School. You can find out more at:

It will be led by parent carers, like yourself; our trained facilitators, Ann and Katie,
are both SNAP PCF Parent Representatives. They understand the challenges you
face and are committed to helping you achieve better health and well-being.
